Thursday

Marimekko

I really like Marimekko's clothes at the moment. So much that I would love to have every single dress from them. And the new fabrics also.

Wednesday

Take a notepad

I love this paper artwork by Sarah Sze! Next time I'm bored, I'll try to do something like that.

Tuesday

Physicists' blackboards

This photo series by Alejandro Guijarro is just great! These images of physicist's blackboard after their lessons remind me of my physics classes in high school. It would be awesome to go there again (just) for a one day but I guess there's not so many blackboards in class rooms nowadays.

Monday

Food aesthetics

I love Marina Ekroos' cookbook called Silmänruokaa (Feast for the eyes). The photographer has arranged all the ingredients into beautiful arrangements that  I could just stare forever. I want this!!!

Saturday

Camera obscura room

This is what we made.

New home things

Z made me plywood boxes that can be piled up into shelves, so perfect for my little home! I love love love them and now we can build a studio for our little photography project. Hell yeah! (And then we made a camera obscura out of my room.)

Friday

Masked

When I was in primary school we made these cool plaster masks and painted them. I remembered that project recently and now I want to do some plaster masks again. Maybe a wall full of weird and magical plaster faces!!

Wednesday

Pentax and life

Sorry for being so quiet lately but I've been doing so much stuff that I think one of my day includes actually two days. And I finally got my new camera: Pentax K-5!!! (Yeah, not Pentax K-5 II as I planned, I just couldn't wait any longer.)

But here's some pics from the last few days that I've spent with two of my dearest.

Sunday

Getting ideas

I always want to do something a bit different for my friends for Christmas. Something that I make myself and that's not so typical Christmas card or present. Now it's the time to get inspired by something and all the DIY things from Mini eco are so great!

Friday

Ebo Taylor

It's Tampere Jazz Happening and we have the tickets to go to see Ebo Taylor tomorrow night (by accident, long story but I think it was destiny).

Thursday

Jupiter goes My Little Pony

Loving this Hubble image from Jupiter and its moons! The colours are so sweet!

Tuesday

Art loves food

Bompas & Parr, the gastronomic art duo that continued to play and experiment with food after their childhood. I just love this.

Monday

Mäntyniemi

Last weekend was all about friends and forest. We spent the weekend here, had some wine and sausages, spent hours in the sauna, saw the first snow falling down, picked some icy mushrooms and made some delicious soup, pancakes and s'mores. And the mornings felt like Christmas mornings with slow and long breakfast, cartoons and dearest people next to me. Love to you all!

Wednesday

Bits and pieces

How awesome is this photo series called Disassembled by Todd McLellan, a photographer who certainly likes to know what's inside of different devices. This reminds me of my little brothers...
