These rugs are waiting for me at Kotka. My mom made these and I cannot wait to see them.

Eden
If this doesn't look like a paradise then what does? I can almost here the waterfalls and birds singing. I think I have to visit Plitvice lakes in Croatia some day.
Sunday
Easy-to-move bookshelves
Few years ago I lived in a tiny flat. I needed a bookshelf to maximize the space so I ended up building it myself with painted old fruit boxes. I loved the shelf. Now I have a real wooden bookshelf which is steady and sturdy but I quite miss the build-yourself feeling. Maybe next time I'll build a shelf made of splinter baskets like Deko-magazine suggests.

Can't get enough of the autumn colours
It's all over the place: the autumn. This is the most beautiful time until all the leaves have falled and then it's just grey, grey and black until next May. That is depressing so now I have to get all the kicks from this colour burst before the long darkness. That's why I match my nail polish to the colours.
Friday
Wood textile
This is to adore! Textile designer Elisa Strozyk makes these amazing origami-like rugs, blankets and fabrics combining wood and textile.

Entering and leaving
One of the favorite places in my little home is my entry/dressing room. I think I spend a lot of time there. Going and coming, dressing and just passing by. With huge mirror doors on the other side it's also full of light. I have gathered all these little things there so that I can stop to admire those on my way to somewhere. Like my little brother's drawing of insects, the skateboard, the moose hanger, all the different sunglasses, my collection of the most awful postcards ever, the drawing from my goddaughter, my cameras etc.
Tuesday
Wes Love
I thought I could wait for tomorrow to post this but I'm far too excited. Because today I found out about this greatest project that I have ever heard: Alex Cornell's hypothetical Wes Anderson Film Festival project. I'm a HUGE Wes Anderson fan and all this dedication to him by Cornell is just perfect. I love the graphic designs, I love all the lines that he has gathered from the movies and I love everything in this project. I love Wes and now I love Alex.
The Deepest Space
This first picture of new ALMA telescope in the Chilean Andes is showing two galaxies colliding in the deep space. Every time I see space pictures I'm amazed how incredibly beautiful space we live in. And I think we should stop for a moment every once in a while and think of that.

Navajo
I'm more and more convinced that I should've been born, for example, a Navajo Indian. Wherever I see geometrical patterns I melt. I love them, I cannot get enough of them, they always look good to me. Everything consisted of circles, triangles and squares.

Balcony check for autumn
My more tropical plants moved back inside. Pelargoniums are waiting to go to the basement for their winter sleep. I got some Callunas and Sedum for colour. Candles at evening and maybe some other lightings soon. And loook at the amazing colours that I see everyday from my windows!
Saturday
Music for your Saturday
I couldn't resist. This kind of music isn't everyone's piece of cake but with the right mood and place, it makes me dance hard.

What's up
I have noticed that lately I haven't really told you what's up with my life at the moment. Well, here is little something what I've been doing:
1. Working (great new stuff came)
2. Monsters of Pop-festival at Tampere ( I saw Jesse & Jimi Tenor which was awesome. Cannot wait their new album coming on the beginning of 2012. Then I saw Lindström and Huoratron and especially Huoratron was so great. Everyone was dancing and the greatest thing is that I bumped into old friends and got to dance with them.)
3. Enjoyed some Design On Tampere happening
4. Today went to an early morning breakfast at market hall. Then enjoyed some autumn sunshine.
