Two music videos that you should watch (and great music too). First the one who is always something good: Bonobo. This is an old song and I don't know how I've missed this video. Because it's so beautiful. And then there is M.I.A. I love her attitude and I appreciate the message of this video (Saudi women don't have the permission to drive a car and you can guess what they are doing in this video).

Mary Katrantzou
I have always wondered who is my favourite fashion designer. And I'm still not ready to pick just one but Mary Katrantzou with her contemporary prints is quite close to being my favourite. I wish we would have Topshop in Finland because now Mary has designed a collection for them (first picture). Looking good.
Monday
Dancing fireflies
We don't have fireflies in Finland so they are something quite mysterious and amazing to me. So these photos by Tsuneaki Hiramatsu look like fairies dancing. So cool!

Creative socks
This post is dedicated to my Mum. She makes so many pairs of wool socks for so many people each year that sometimes I feel I have too many pairs (I'm not complaining though). But because she knits so much, she also gets a bit bored with the same patterns she uses. So I hope these socks by LizSox inspire her. (And Mum, if you're reading this, could you please consider making me a socks like these? Because these would so so cool!)

Saturday
Zebra and Snake
Second post for today but this Saturday needs some good music too. Good music like new Zebra and Snake song. And the music video is so sweet! Great band from great studio.
SUNO
This photo is just amazing! I love the shirt and I love the hair accessory. Actually I love everything in this photo. What I also love is the brand behind it: SUNO. It's a New York based womenswear label that uses vintage Kenyan textiles on their designs. And almost every design they make is something I would totally wear (they also have quite beautiful website).
Thursday
Asian things
A while ago I noticed that there is this new Asian store near my gym. So I made a little adventure there and here's what I found. Especially the little soy sauce fish is so cute!
Wednesday
Vertical Garden
I love the idea of having a wall growing different plants. I think it's because I love rainforests where the greeness is so overwhelming (not that I've ever been in a rainforest). Patrick Blanc's vertical gardens are so amazing and I wish we could have an office with one wall full of plants.
Tuesday
New Stockmann packaging
A while ago I accidentally noticed (when buying a Barbie for my goddaughter) that Finnish retail group Stockmann has updated their packaging with the help of Kokoro&Moi, one of the coolest graphic design agencies at the moment. The packaging design is simple, yet recognizable and fresh. I want to buy more from Stockmann just that I can get the paperbag and wrappers that come along.
Monday
Carl Kleiner for IKEA
I have always loved photographs where all the little things have been laid out symmetrically and then the photo is taken straight above. It's so different view from the one that you normally get by looking things and it somehow looks beautiful to my eyes. That's why I so drawn to these photos by Carl Kleiner for IKEA. These look like art.
Sunday
Sweet birthdays
It's always so sweet to see all my dear friends. They are like my family. And when someone like B has a birthday, it's always going to be fun. Fun including lots of sweet pastries, surprise cakes with candles burnt before the Birthday Boy even enters the apartment, lots of laughter and great hairs, good food, dancing and bottles and bottles of sparkling drinks. What else do you even need?
Thursday
Summer vitamins
Now it happened. Almost all the winter has passed without me getting any flu. Until now. Maybe it's also related to working a bit too much. And I have a long-awaited weekend to come! I'm trying to fool myself to be fine again by looking old summer photos where the sun is shining (D-vitamin), there's green everywhere (the power of growth) and, well, all the rich colours are just making me feel more optimistic and positive (and of course I have one secret ingredient which is so good). But hopefully I'll be fine for the weekend.
Wednesday
Heart-shaped
OMG. This is so perfect for this moment (although Valentine's day was yesterday). Because I can almost see everything like this without the filter on my camera's lens. But still this is an awesome tutorial to get heart-shaped bokeh in your photos.

Quartz mirrors
I adore these mirrors (by Study O Portable)! They look like chrystals and are so elegant and a bit mysterious, too. Perfect for me.
Monday
New Metsä
This goes on in our workplace's Podio. We totally like the new look of Metsä Group! And also the most coolest webpages of this time (scroll down and see it yourself!).

Hanging succulent garden
I would love to hang plants in my apartment but I think I'm not allowed to do that. But I can dream about this succulent garden and do these macrames for my plants in advance.
Thursday
Kirka and Tapani
I remembered this cool and quite old Finnish poster of two singers: Kirka and Tapani Kansa. How young they are in this poster! I found this from the house we are renovating with my dad, sister and brothers. So much great stuff there to find.

Plant lamp
This Vase & Leuchte Lamp by Miriam Aust combines chemistry, plants and lighting and that's what makes it so cool!

Vårdapoteket
Swedish pharmacy's new identity by Stockholm Design Lab is just amazing. I love the colours, I love the simple and fresh feeling of it. (Well, I usually love everything that comes out of Stockholm Design Lab...)
Saturday
Friday
Jia boxes
These lunch boxes by JIA are awesome! Plus they are ecological too because they are made of bio degradable EPA Melamine. I just wish I would know where to get these.
Thursday
Go to: To the warm
It's about -30 degrees outside and I feel cold all the time. I hate winter and I want to be somewhere tropical. So you can imagine how nuts I went when I heard that Finnish ship Kristina Katarina is sailing (but not until winter 2013) to the Caribbean and to Panama AND Kolumbia at the same cruise (I've been dying to visit both countries). If only I could save the money and have the time.
