I have a crush. On Bill Murray. There is something so interesting, beautiful, cynical and sad about him. I have spent the whole weekend with him. First I watched his movie Get Low. Then Lost in Translation (which actually was just because I wanted to be in Tokyo for a while). Now I think I want to marry Bill. Also found this great poster via we are not hip (it would have been too cheeky to put Bill's picture here).

ALL
As it's still very cold outside it makes me feel warmer when I just look at the pictures of ALL Knitwear products. And definitely the kind of knitwear I would want to wear!

Bento
I love the Japanese bento meals in boxes. They look beautiful, I'm pretty sure they are tasteful and also fun. I want to buy a cool bento box from Bento&Co and then it would be nice if someone made me these cute meals everyday (I don't have time and patience to do that).

The King of Limbs
I couldn't keep myself away from here when I remembered this: Radiohead (one of my favorite bands of all time) has released their new album The King of Limbs and it sounds AMAZING! It's always worth waiting for something that good. Love love love.
Wednesday
When you grow up
Irina Werning's Back to the future is an ongoing project where she recreates old photos by making the people in photos look exactly the same they were (but all grown up). There is just something extremely cute about these pictures.

The difficulty of getting dressed
Last weekend I was at my friend's birthday party and that was such a fun. Not just because there was a lot of partying but because I got the chance to see all my dearest friends at the same time. Just like the old days.
Monday
Beautiful glass
Sometimes I miss the time when I was able to do glass designs because there is just something magical about that material. That is why I totally fell in love when I saw these pictures from (I think) Tokyo Design Week 2010.

Secret of Mana
I grew up playing this game. I remember the nights battling against dragons and founding another worlds. I still think that Super Nintendo's Secret of Mana is the best game ever!
Saturday
Princess story
One of the most beautiful films ever (visually) is Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette. Be a princess.

Rulers
I've been drawing lines and circles all the week. I would have needed this Bandit Ruler by Sebastian Bergne. It is so cool.
Thursday
Beer and summer nights
Right now, when there is about -30 degrees outside and the amount of snow tells that there is still a long way to go until summer comes, I want to go back to the time when this (maybe 3 years) old photo was taken: the time with warm beer, summer jewellery, sunsets, sweat, flower dresses, living with someone in a gorgeous apartment and endless nights.
Wednesday
Manwoman
I simply can't remember where I got this photo but it still fascinates me. Is this a man or a woman, I don't know. And I love how elegant his/her hands look like.

Weekender
My life is full of weekend trips (or week trips) to different locations so I've been needing a good weekender bag for a while. Once I allready found it in Sweden but then I wasn't smart enough to buy it (my sister was). So now I solved my little problem by making the bag myself and it has all the elements in it that I want. I think I really like this one.
Saturday
Västerås
My sister is studying in Västerås, Sweden at the moment and it looks so lovely there! And today is her birthday also so HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BIRTHDAY MY DEAREST SISTER (last pic is for you, remember?)!

Thursday
Gunta
I really like these textiles by Gunta Stözl who studied and teached at Bauhaus school. I'm thinking of doing something like these to my walls also.
Wednesday
New thing for summer
I saw this nail polish idea when surfing through Hello Sandwich. Loving it! It's going to be my spring-summer 2011 thing.
Tuesday
The clock
Just found the perfect clock from flea market! I've been looking for a clock like this for a while for my home and now I have it.
For Natasha
There is something mysterious, sensitive and primitive about the music that Natasha Khan makes. That is why Bat for Lashes is one of my favorites. I think this photo from Observer taken by Neil Wilder tells perfectly what kind of music it is. ( I also love Natasha's style which is just like her music.)

New love
I just couldn't wait to post these pics that I found via (my new favorite blog) ii-ne-kore. This is why I want to go to Japan.
Dreaming of Tokyo
I was supposed to be sailing in the Red Sea at the moment but I'm not because of what's happening in Egypt. Well, my longing for a holiday and going somewhere far hasn't gone so I've been dreaming of Tokyo (I don't know why). Never been there but after following blogs like Hello Sandwich and The Tokyo Connection I really want to go there. Also dreaming of going to Shanghai (because my old friend lives there) and Reykjavik (just because) so if you know any good blogs about those places, please let me know.

Bag garden
I know it's still a few months to go before I can start making my balcony look more like a garden but I think now it is the best time for planning. I love the idea of Bacsac and because I can't get the originals here I found a perfect replacements: Ikea bags.

Moose cousin
Yesterday evening I had a little adventure in the wonderland of internet and look what I found: the cousin to my beloved moose hanger! I also like the wreath.

Annual cubes
I have always liked the work of Finnish glass designer Oiva Toikka and especially his annual cubes. I just don't know when I will get the money to actually buy one.
